What had exactly happened on Saturday night? According to the report, the young journalist, who works for a regional news channel, was on her way home from work around 11 pm when the man, standing near a traffic signal and staring at her for some time, suddenly threw a flying kiss at her. The woman called a policeman standing nearby and got Tilak caught.

The man was booked under Section 509 of the Indian Penal Code, which makes words, gesture or act intended at insulting the modesty of a woman punishable.
