From July 8th through July 12th, Mumbai can expect varying weather conditions with temperatures ranging between 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. The sky will predominantly remain cloudy with intermittent periods of rain. Here is the detailed weather forecast for Mumbai:

July 8: The day will start with a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, reaching a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius. Expect a cloudy sky with light showers.
July 9: Temperatures will range from a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius. Cloudy skies will prevail, accompanied by light rain.
July 10: The minimum temperature will be around 24 degrees Celsius, peaking at 32 degrees Celsius. Cloudy conditions will persist with moderate rainfall expected.
July 11: Anticipate a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius. Rainfall is likely throughout the day under cloudy skies.
July 12: Temperatures will range between 25 to 31 degrees Celsius. Downpours are forecasted with a cloudy sky dominating the weather pattern.
IMD Issues Yellow Alert
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for several districts in Maharashtra:
Coastal Areas: Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg may experience heavy rainfall in isolated areas.
Ghat Areas: Cities such as Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara should prepare for heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated spots.

Interior Maharashtra: Districts like Dhule, Jalgaon, Solapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Nanded, Latur, and Osmanabad may encounter thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, moderate rainfall, and gusty winds ranging from 30 to 40 kmph.
Eastern Maharashtra: Regions including Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal are also under the yellow alert for potential thunderstorms with lightning strikes.
Maharashtra Monsoon Update
The IMD predicts that there is a possibility of more than average rainfall in most parts of Maharashtra. The 'El Nino' condition may remain neutral in the initial phase. But in the second phase of monsoon i.e. in July or August, 'La Nina' condition is likely to occur. The Meteorological Department has clarified that the La Nina conditions are favourable for this year's monsoon in the country.
