Mumbai-Kolhapur Mahalaxmi And Kolhapur-Tirupati Haripriya Express Get Revised Coach Setup

Central Railway has announced changes in the composition of two express trains: the Mumbai-Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Express and the Kolhapur-Tirupati Haripriya Express. The revised configuration includes one 1st AC, two AC-2Tier, one AC-3Tier, three AC-3Tier Economy, eight Sleeper class, four General Second Class, one Generator Car, and one Second Seating & Luggage cum Guard's brake van.

The updated train composition will be implemented on several routes. Train number 17411, the CSMT-Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Express departing from CSMT, will adopt this new setup starting 20th October 2025. Similarly, train number 17412, the Kolhapur-CSMT Mahalaxmi Express leaving from Kolhapur, will follow suit from 19th October 2025.

Additional Stoppage for Tambaram-Jodhpur Superfast Express

For passenger convenience, an extra stop at Amalner station is being introduced for the Tambaram-Jodhpur Superfast Express. Train No. 22663 will begin this additional halt from its journey starting in Tambaram on 23rd August 2025. It will arrive at Amalner at 2:45 pm and depart at 2:47 pm.

Train No. 22664 Jodhpur-Tambaram Superfast Express will also include this stop starting its journey from Jodhpur on 26th August 2025. It is scheduled to reach Amalner at 4:16 pm and leave by 4:18 pm. This change is being implemented on an experimental basis.

Implementation Dates for Revised Train Composition

The Kolhapur-Tirupati Haripriya Express with train number 17416 departing from Kolhapur will adopt the new composition starting on 21st October 2025. Meanwhile, train number 17415 Tirupati-Kolhapur Haripriya Express leaving Tirupati will implement these changes from 18th October 2025.
