Salman and Bigg Boss 7 officials have been accused of insulting Muslim sentiments by putting all contestants into Jannat and Jahannum. Advocate MA Qawi Abbasi said Mohammed Fasihuddin had approached the Sixteenth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, seeking direction to the police to register a case against Big Boss 7.

According to Fasihuddin, the concept of Jannat and Jahannum are sacred in Islam and the show was making a mockery of the Islamic beliefs.According to media reports, Salman will be summoned to appear before court in person or through his counsel.

The reality show has been facing many controversies ever since its launch on Sep 15, 2013. Recently, one of its contestants -- Armaan Kohli was arrested from Bigg Boss 7 house. He was accused of sexually assaulting another contestant -- British singer-actor Sofiya Hayat. However, later he was released on bail.
