Youth shot at for opposing sister's eve teasing in UP

Muzaffarnagar (UP), Nov 30: One person was allegedly shot at by miscreants when he opposed them for eve teasing his sister at a village here, police said today.

The incident occurred at Mahaljana village under Budhana police station and the accused have been identified as Jabbar, Sattar, Karrar and Jarrar, they said.

Nazim, who is in hospital now, was shot at by the accused when he opposed them for teasing his sister, police said, adding that a case has been registered against the four, who are yet to be arrested.

Meanwhile, an 18-year-old youth, who was missing since two days, was today found murdered at Saotu village under Bhorakala police station. Police said his body sustaining bullet injuries was found in the jungle.

The body has been sent for postmortem and investigation is on, they said.
