Uttar Pradesh: Stones hurled at BJP MLA Pooran Prakash's car in Mathura

Mathura (UP), Aug 6: Mathura BJP MLA Pooran Prakash was reportedly attacked by unidentified persons who threw stones at his car near Mahaban town in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday (August 6).

The incident took place last evening, they said.

"Since it was dark, I did not stop the vehicle and headed straight to my residence," Prakash said.

SSP Babloo Kumar said the incident was being probed and the culprit would be arrested soon.

The BJP MLA, however, said such incidents would not stop him from interacting with the people of his constituency.
