UP: This madarssa introduces course to spread true message of Islam
Lucknow, Aug 7: In an attempt to show how religious texts are misused by terrorists, a madarssa in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, has introduced a new course titled, "Islam and terrorism" for graduate students.
According to TOI report, the new course has been introduced in Dargah Aala Hazrat, to compare the original text from the holy Quran with translations offered by terrorist groups.
Under the specialization course, workshops will be held to show students of Jamia Razviya Manazar-E-Islam madrassa that how a religion is misused to spread terrorism and brainwash the youth.
Mufti Mohammed Saleem Noori, a senior teacher said that the objective of the course would be to make students aware about the true message of Islam.

He said that terror groups like ISIS, Taliban and al Qaeda lure youngsters to join their outfits.
The course began on Wednesday, Aug 5 and presently, 18 students have enrolled for the course.

Currently, 1,200 students study in the madarssa, that was established in 1904.
