UP: Drunk Policeman seen dancing and showering cash on female dancer

Lucknow, Nov 12: In a shameful act, a police constable was seen dancing and throwing notes at a female dancer at a public event in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

A news channel reported that the constable, who was on duty, was in an inebriated state when he forced dancer to perform at the gunpoint and started showering money on her.

While escalating the issue, the BJP said that the "UP police has become emboldened by the state government's inaction".

"The cop must be punished severely", the BJP demanded.

UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party has been in news for the law and order failure and increasing incidents of crime against women in the state.
