UP: 3 rape cases in a day in Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar
Bulandshahr (UP), Jul 31: Two women members of a family, including a minor, were allegedly raped by a gang of bandits near Dostpur village, police said on Saturday, July 30.
A family was on its way from Noida to Shahjahanpur when they were waylaid by bandits after their car was hit by a blunt object.

They dragged the women, including a 13-year-old girl, to a nearby field and raped them while the men were tied with ropes, SSP Vaibhav Krishna said.
They were also looted of their cash, jewellery and mobile phones, he said. One of the family members, who managed to untie the ropes, reported the matter to police, Krishna said.
An FIR under relevant sections of the IPC was lodged against five accused, he said.
SHO Ramsen of Kotwali Dehat was relieved from the charge of the case and attached with Police Lines here after police reported his negligence in the case, the SSP said.
Three police teams have been formed to nab the culprits, he added.
Teenaged girl gangraped by 3 youths
In a separate incident, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gangraped by three youths in Khedikurmu village in Shamli district, police said on Saturday.
The girl's father complained that she had gone to purchase some goods when Sushil Kumar, Lokender and Mohit abducted her and gangraped her in a nearby house yesterday, they said.
When the girl did not return, her family members started searching for her and found her in the house, police said, adding they also caught Sushil and handed him over to police after thrashing him while the other accused managed to escape.
On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered against the three accused and Sushil arrested, they said.
The girl has been sent for medical examination and search is on to nab the absconding accused, police added.
In a separate incident, a shopkeeper yesterday allegedly tried to rape 10-year-old when she has gone to purchase goods from his shop at Purkazi town in the district.
A case was registered under sections 376 (rape), 511 (attempting to commit offences) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC and POCSO Act against shopkeeper Akbar who is absconding.
