Tension prevails in Muzaffarnagar after youth shot dead

Muzaffarnagar, Oct 10: A youth was allegedly shot dead by two motorcycle-borne men at Pachenda road here, triggering protests by locals who indulged in brick batting.

Abid (28) was shot dead by two unidentified miscreants on Pachenda road here last evening when the victim was returning from his hair dressing shop.

Locals gathered and started brick batting in protest.

Security has been tightened in the city and para-military forces have been deployed there.
