Muzaffarnagar: SHO suspended for negligence in murder case
Muzaffarnagar (UP), Jul 22: An SHO has been suspended for negligence after a 16-year-old boy, who was missing, was found murdered allegedly by two brothers who suspected him of having an affair with their sister in Kawal village of Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district.
Ajaypal Gautam, SHO of Jansath police station, was suspended for negligence in handling the case, SSP Deepak Kumar said.

The death of Irshad sparked protests with people blocking the Khatima-Panipat highway at Jansath area on Wednesday. Irshad was missing since July 18.
He was reportedly in a relationship with the sister of two brothers who were arrested yesterday for their alleged involvement in the case, Kumar said.
Tension prevailed in the village and security has been beefed up in the village, the SSP added.
