Mainpuri (UP), Aug 17: Samajwadi Party national general secretary Ramgopal Yadav today ruled out the possibility of taking former party leader Amar Singh back in the party.

"There is no possibility of taking Amar Singh back in party. So far no such matter has been raised in the party by anyone," Yadav said in reply to a question.

ajya Sabha MP Amar Singh had shared the dais with Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav for the first time in four years during a programme last week after bitter parting of ways with the party.

Talking about the issue of communal riots in the state, Yadav alleged that "BSP and BJP incite communal passions to gain political mileage" during elections but public has understood it. When asked about the tussle between cabinet minister Mohd Azam Khan and Shia cleric Kalbe Jawwad, Yadav said that Samajwadi Party had nothing to do with it.

"It's their own matter regarding the waqf properties. Party has nothing do with it", he said. Yadav was here to review preparation for Loksabha byelections here, which was vacated by Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Mulayam Singh Yadav had contested the Lok Sabha elections from two seats -- Azamgarh and Mainpuri. He retained the Azamgarh seat and vacated Mainpuri in June.

Tej Pratap Singh is contesting from the seat on Samajwadi Party ticket. On Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yadav said, "Modi-phobia" is over which was apparent from the fact that BJP had so far failed to find and declare its candidate for byelections.

Samajwadi Party candidate will create a new history of margin retaining this seat, he claimed.
