Lucknow, Feb 19: It was a day of great shame in Uttar Pradesh assembly. While two RLD MLAs took off their shirts when Governor BL Joshi was addressing the assembly to protest the government's alleged nexus with the sugar industry owners and also the law and order problem in the state. The governor was able to present his speech for three to four minutes after which he left. The assembly session started on Wednesday.
The two entered the Well in the House showing posters and also got up on a bench. MLAs of the opposition BSP also supported them. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was present in the assembly at the moment.

If this incident was disappointing, the remark of senior Samajwadi Party minister Azam Khan that followed was even more shocking. He said the protesting MLAs should also have got rid of their trousers to express their manhood.
