Narendra Modi nominates Akhilesh Yadav, Md Kaif for 'Clean India' campaign

Modi was then seen with a spade cleaning the banks of river Ganga, following which he nominated 9 people including Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav and cricketer Mohammed Kaif for the 'Clean India ' campaign.
Modi also nominated actor Manoj Tiwari, stand up comedian Raju Srivastav, cricketer Suresh Raina , Padma Sri Devi Parsad Dwivedi. Others in the list were writer Manu Sharma, singer Kailash Kher and Swami Ram Bahdracharya.
Speaking to reporters here, Modi said: "I have started the cleanliness drive here, social organisations have assured me this entire ‘ghat' will be cleaned as soon as possible."
Modi said that after several years this should be a gift through the medium of cleanliness here.
Shortly after being nominated Suresh Raina tweeted:
