Revealed: Why police buying time to arrest politicians in UP riot case

The cops reportedly did not want to court any clash with the supporters and followers of the accused politicians who allehedly had given hate speeches ahead of the riot which left more than 40 people dead and many injured in Muzaffarnagar and adjoining areas.
The Police seem to have been waiting the Uttar Pradesh assembly session to end. The House will end its ongoing session on Friday.
Police will not arrest any politician till Friday
Earlier BJP leader Uma Bharti had dared the cops to arrest her party leaders in connectin with the communal violence case. Bharti had staged a dharna in Lucknow threatening UP government to ignite protest in the state if police arrest BJP leaders.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Sangeet Som has gone underground. Non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against Som who earlier had challenged police to arrest him. Som allegedly had circulated a controversial video which had triggered riot in the sensitive region of the state.
