MLAs come to blows in J&K, do a striptease in UP Assembly

MLAs go berserk across Assemblies
Lucknow/ Jammu, Feb 19: Seems like the MLAs in the country are on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Days after the 'pepper spray' incident that rocked the Parliament, MLAs in the Uttar Pradesh assembly and the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly were seen protesting, hitting and behaving in an unruly manner.

While in J&K Assembly a PDP MLA Syed Bashir slapped a Marshal during the proceedings, RLD MLAs in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly took off their kurtas and some even stood on the tables. Bashir was then escorted out of the House. MLAs in the J&K Assembly literally came to blows before they were escorted out of the House.

Meanwhile, BSP MLAs raised slogans, waved flags during governor's address in the UP Assembly. Some MLAs even stormed into the Well of the House. The MLAs were protesting against the lawlessness in the state ans also alleged that Akhilesh Yadav and the owners of the sugar mills in the state were 'hand-in-glove' with each other.

The scene was no different in the Rajya Sabha, where chaos prevailed as TDP MP pushed the Rajya Sabha Secretary as proceedings continued with respect to the Telangana Bill. Anti-Telangana MLAs continued to disrupt the proceedings in the RS.
