Kannauj: 6 armed men gangrape teenage girl

Kannauj (UP), Aug 20: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by six armed men after entering into the victim's house, police said.

Late last night, some armed miscreants entered into the victim's house and when resisted they beat up her parents and tied up her father, they said.

Later, they locked the girl inside a room where they allegedly raped her, they said.

The victim has been admitted to the hospital where her condition was stated to be critical, police said.

Kannauj is the parliamentary constituency of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's wife Dimple Yadav.

Superintendent of Police Kalanidhi Mishra said seven persons have been detained in this connection, of which one has been identified by the victim.
