Muzaffarnagar: Girl eve-teased, beaten up by 2 youths

Muzaffarnagar, Dec 28: A B.Com student was allegedly eve-teased by two youths and later beaten up when she resisted their attempt here, police said on Sunday.

The accused, Arpit Jain and Vishal, started eve-teasing the girl who was on her way to home from college in Kirshna Puri locality here yesterday.

Within a few minutes, she resisted and protested against their activity, they said. The two youths allegedly beat up the victim when she voiced against their harassment, police said.

A case was registered against the accused on the directive of SSP Muzaffarnagar after her family demanded action against them, they said.

Both the accused are absconding, police said adding that efforts are on to nab the them.
