Cow slaughter case: Another accused arrested in Muzaffarnagar
Muzaffarnagar, Aug 1: A second person has been arrested in connection with the incident of alleged cow slaughter which triggered tension in Kadhli village here, police said today.
"One more accused, identified as Saddam, was arrested on charges of cow slaughter yesterday," Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar said.

A case was lodged against Zishan Qureshi and his family members for alleged cow slaughter, following which police had arrested Qureshi on Saturday.
The incident triggered tension in the area after locals attacked Qureshi's house accusing him and his family members of cow slaughter on Saturday evening.
Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
