Congress worker held for circulating objectionable content on Facebook

Mathura, Oct 31: A

worker was on Thursday booked for allegedly circulating objectionable content about a

leader and former state minister on social networking website

, police said.

As per a complaint, the accused Kanhaiya lal Gautam, through his Facebook account had circulated a file containing objectional content about the former state minister Ravikant Garg on October 8, SP (Crime) Ashok Kumar said.

A case has been registered against Gautam under the IT Act, he said. Preliminary investigations are being conducted by the cyber cell, he said.
