BJP workers clash after party denies LS ticket to Kalraj Mishra

and Surya Pratap Shahi on Wednesday came to blows at Patherdeva Bazar in

on Wednesday, police said.

Supporters of Mishra and Shahi, who has been denied ticket from the seat, clashed in which some of them also received minor injuries, sources said.

Mishra was also shown black flags allegedly by Shahi's supporters. Ever since Mishra has been made the BJP nominee from the seat, protests have been going on in the area by supporters of Shahi and former MP Sriprakash Mani Tripathi.

Both of them were not present when Mishra arrived in Deoria on Tuesday for the first time in the constituency.
