BHU Professor drags, beats woman mercilessly in public

Lucknow, July 22: Uttar Pradesh is going through a spate of rising crimes against women.

But, when the educated people stoop to low level of exploiting women, then the situation becomes worse and the hopes of restoring law and order also seems to be grim.

On Tuesday, a Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Professor, who is also a BJP worker from Lucknow, reportedly mercilessly beat up a woman, while the onlookers were brazenly watching the crime being committed.

The shocking incident happened in the holy city Varanasi, when the woman was being dragged out of her home and was being beaten.
