AAP leader Javed Jaffery hits out at BJP, says he is not an outsider
Jafferry was referring to a jibe made by the Opposition that he was outsider contesting elections in Lucknow. Speaking to a news channel, Jafferry said: "I am not an outsider who has come from America or Pakistan, I am an Indian."
He then took a jibe at BJP president and Lucknow candidate Rajnath Singh saying that he has been jumping constituencies. He then questioned his opponents saying that people who called him an outsider, what had they done for their respective constituencies.
Jafferry then said that Congress candidate from Lucknow Rita Bahuguna Joshi had not done anything for the city.
Few weeks back it was a moment of embarassment for AAP, when the party realised that Jafferry was not even a registered voter in the country. Though he had voted in 2008, his named disappeared fro the voter list after that.
