7 injured in clashes between two groups in UP

Muzaffarnagar (UP), Aug 7: Seven persons were injured when clashes broke out between two groups over old enmity at Rasulpur village of this district, police said.

The incident happened yesterday when Totaram from one of the groups had a heated argument with Kunwerpal from another group leading to stone-pelting and use of firearms, they said.

Police rushed on the spot and brought the situation under control, they said, adding, five persons have been arrested in this connection.
