2 killed in lightning strike in UP

Pratapgarh (UP), July 7: A 13-year-old girl was killed after being struck by lightning in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh district, police said today. Kriti was killed yesterday in Udaipur area of Semra village of the district, they said.

In a separate incident, 16-year-old Ranjana was killed yesterday after lightning struck her in Antu area of Revriha village, police said.

The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem.
