2 killed as truck hits tempo in UP
Bareilly (UP), July 8: Two persons were killed and 11 others injured when a truck hit a tempo near Faridpur area today, police said.
The incident took place when a tempo, carrying passengers to Meeranpur Katra in Shahjahanpur, was hit by the truck, they said.
While tempo driver Maniram (34) and Surendra Kumar (42) died on the spot, the injured were rushed to a hospital where their condition was stated to be stable, they said.
