UP: 2 kanwad pilgrims die in separate incidents

Muzaffarnagar (UP), Jul 28: Two kanwad pilgrims died today in two separate incidents when they were in the middle of their journey here, police said.

In the first incident, A 20-year-old kanwad pilgrim was electrocuted when he came in contact with an electric wire.

Suraj, a resident of Ghaziabad was electrocuted when he came in contact with an electric wire inside the camp on Shamli road, police said.

In another incident, a pilgrim died due to cardiac arrest when he was returning from Haridwar. The victim has not been identified yet, police said.
