12 injured in clash over collecting water

Muzaffarnagar, Sep 14: Twelve people, including six women, were injured in a clash between two groups over collecting water from a hand pump in Pather village, police said.

Umerdin and Ziaul Haq had an argument yesterday over collecting water from hand pump following which their supporters clashed with sticks and firearms, police added.

The injured were shifted to hospitalised and investigation is on, they said.
