Baked Brunch Omelet Recipe Featuring Cheddar Cheese and Ham
The Baked Brunch Omelet is a delightful dish that combines the richness of eggs with the savoury taste of ham and cheddar cheese. - ½ loaf (1 pound) white bread, cut into cubes
- 680 g cheddar cheese, shredded
- 135 g cubed cooked ham
- 8 eggs
- 475 ml milk
- 1 g salt
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste
- 25 g chopped green onion

- Oven
- 9x13-inch (23 x 33 cm) baking pan
- Baking sheet with rim
- Large bowl
Procedure
- Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Place half of the bread cubes on the bottom of the baking pan. Sprinkle with half of the ham and then half of the cheese; repeat with remaining ingredients.
- In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, salt, hot sauce, and green onions. Pour this egg mixture into the pan over the layered ingredients.
- Place the pan on top of a baking sheet with a rim and put it in the oven. Pour water into the baking sheet to create a water bath and bake for 60 minutes, or until the eggs have set.
