Kerala Hummer murder accused Nisham meets family violating rules, cops suspended

Kannur, Aug 6: Five police officers who rendered unlawful help to Mohammed Nisham, who has been held for Chandrabose murder case, were suspended from the service.

Nisham who was detained at Kannur Central Jail was taken to Thrissur District Court on August 4 by the police. The officers took Nisham to a restaurant in Thrissur after the court posted the hearing of the case to 2 pm.

Kannur AR Camp SI KT Pradeep, civil police officers Pratheesh, Jijo George, Sudheesh and Dhananjayan were suspended by Kannur DIG Dinendra Kashyap on the report of Thrissur City Police Commissioner.

A complaint raised by Special Prosecutor C.P. Udayabhanu said that, Nisham is in detention period and meeting family members without the permission of the court's permission is violation.

He had run into controversy in 2013 for allowing his 9 year old son to drive Ferrari car in Thrissur.

Chandrabose was hit by Nisham's Hummer car for delay in opening the gate of the township.

Nisham pinned the guard to the wall using the vehicle and attacked using an iron rod.

Chandrabose succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment on February 16.
