Trinamool candidate calls opponent's wife 'romantic'
The incident in a politically polarised West Bengal has caught enerybody by surprise. Politics in the state nowadays means confrontation between the Trinamool Congress and the opponents and such a goodwill gesture between the candidates of two contesting parties is a fresh break for the local people. Even the local political leaders and MLAs have admitted that latest episode is a new change although the Left has ruled out that the stardom factor will certainly work in favour of the ruling party.
The CPI candidate's family said Dev is different from Trinamool, his party.
Dev stirred a controversy recently when he said in an interview that the intense media focus on his candidature was making him feel like being raped [Read here].
