Maharashtrian Girl Succumbs To Head Injury During Cricket Practice In Malappuram
In a tragic incident, a school student died after suffering a head injury during a cricket practice in Kerala. The incident occurred in Kottakkal in Malappuram, Manorama reported.
The deceased is identified as 15-year-old Thapasya. She hailed from Maharashtra and daughter of Parasuram Sett, who owns a gold ornament business in Ponmala, in Kottakkal.

After suffering the injury, she was rushed to a private hospital in Kottakkal and later taken to Kozhikode. However, the situation did not improve and she breathed her last on Wednesday.
Youth Killed In Accident
A tragic accident claimed the life of 28-year-old Seethal Baby in a bike-truck collision at Edapetty on Wednesday night. Seethal was returning home after a family function in Kalpetta when his motorcycle collided with a truck. Though he was immediately taken to the hospital, efforts to save him were unsuccessful.
Seethal was the son of Nellikkattil Kaniyodikkal N.V. Mathew, a former junior superintendent in the education department, and Laila Mathew. He is survived by his brother, Sarath Baby. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian's Church, Vazhavatta.
