Ensure uninterrupted power supply: Joshi to Kanpur officials

on Saturday met power authorities to discuss the issue of frequent outages in the city.

Joshi met the Managing Director of Kanpur Electric Supply Corporation, S N Bajpai at his residence here to discuss the issue and asked him to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the city especially during the night.

According to sources, Bajpai told Joshi that they supply as much electricity they receive from Lucknow, following which Joshi spoke to the authorities there on the matter.

Earlier in the day, Joshi met district authorities as well as members of the public to know about the problems being faced by them in the area.
