J&K poll: BJP will get record victory in Raipur-Domana seat, says party candidate
Jammu, Dec 4: BJP candidate from Raipur-Domana Bali Bhagat said on Wednesday that his party would get a record victory in this seat in the entire state because of its overwhelming popularity among the people of the state. He said the people were whole-heartedly receiving the saffron party's policies and programmes and the result would be reflected in the results due on December 23. Bhagat also reiterated his resolve to make Raipur-Domana a model constituency.[J&K assembly election Phase 1: 72.3%]
He said the electorate of Raipur-Domana, a seat reserved for the Schedules Castes, have already made up their mind to gift the seat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the BJP's victory is certain but the only question is of the margin.

Bhagat, who addressed a series of meetings at Shikyana Bakrian, Dutta Colony, Raipur, Pandorian, Mohalla Khajuria, Saryara Mohalla, Purkhoo Khanpur, Chibben Chak, Machine Domana, Gokul Pur, Balian and Garhi areas of the constituency, said it was unfortunate that inspite of being located so close to state capital Srinagar, the assembly segments lack basic amenities because of discriminatory policies of successive state governments.
Bhagat asked people to teach those who ignored their well-being a lesson in the ongoing assembly election.
Bhagat promised during his speech that a comprehensive plan would be put in place to protect Tawi Island from floods. He said he would talk to the Centre to sanction funds for the construction of the wall. He also stressed the problem of drinking water in Kandi.
