Rajasthan: A holy dip at this Lord Shiva temple will wash away all your sins!
Jaipur, May 25: In Hindu religion, many traditions are followed on various festivals. Among them, taking bath in holy rivers is considered very pious and sacred, as people find solace and think they have washed away all their sins.
One would be surprised to know that Gautameshwar Mahadev Paapmochan Teertha (Lord Shiva temple), in Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan provides a certificate in Rs 11 to make devotees free of sins!

As per a report published in TOI, any devotee who takes a bath in its Mandakini Kund and gives Rs 11, gets certified that he/she has got "paap-mukti". This is being practised in this temple since independence.
Rs 10 is charged for dosh niravan (remedies of problems) and Re 1 is charged for certificate.
Every year, an eight-day fair is held in May, when lakhs of devotees come at the pilgrimage and take the holy dip.
