WWE Raw Secures Netflix Streaming In $5 Billion Deal: Key Details Inside
Starting in January 2025, the WWE's flagship weekly wrestling program will become exclusively available on Netflix in the US, Canada, UK, and Latin America, with additional countries and regions being included over time.
For the first time in its 31-year history, Raw and the WWE's weekly shows are transitioning from linear television to streaming, making WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble accessible with a Netflix subscription.

WWE's acclaimed documentaries, original series, and upcoming projects will also be globally accessible on Netflix from 2025 onwards, as per the press statement released by Netflix.
The introduction of Raw to Netflix is a significant development for wrestling enthusiasts, as the show has been delivering action, drama, and remarkable athleticism since its 1993 debut, contributing to the rise of iconic figures like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Triple H, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, and Charlotte Flair.
WWE- Netflix: What is the deal?
A long-term deal has been signed by Netflix with the WWE to broadcast the weekly show Monday Night Raw from January 2025 onwards. According to the company, this marks the first instance in 31 years that the show will not be televised, with availability in the US, Canada, UK, Latin America, and other territories. Under the agreement, an initial 10-year term has been established with an aggregate rights fee exceeding $5 billion, featuring an option for Netflix to extend for an additional 10 years and the ability to opt-out after the initial five years.
Alongside Raw, additional WWE shows including SmackDown and NXT, as well as Premium Live Events such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, will be exclusively streamed on Netflix starting January 2024.
Furthermore, Netflix has announced the availability of WWE's award-winning documentaries, original series, and upcoming projects internationally on its platform from 2025.
With over 1600 episodes to date, Raw, a three-hour live entertainment show, has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of iconic figures like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Triple H, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, and Charlotte Flair.
Netflix's Chief Content Officer stated, "We are excited to have WWE Raw on Netflix, blending great characters and storytelling with live-action 52 weeks a year. We're thrilled to be in this long-term partnership with WWE."
Netflix discloses that Raw is currently the number 1 show on the USA network, boasting over 17.5 million unique viewers in a year. Beyond WWE, Netflix has ventured into sports with documentary-like series covering Formula One, professional golf, tennis, and football.
