World agrees to reduce emission of hydrofluorocarbons
As per the agreement the countries will reduce emission of 70 billion tonnes of CO2 globally.
More than 190 countries signed an agreement on the 15th of October to phase out Hydrofluorocarbons that make global warming worse.
The agreement is to come into force on 1st of January 2019. As per the agreement the countries will reduce emission of 70 billion tonnes of CO2 globally.
The benefit of this will be equal to stopping more than half of tropical deforestation.
