White House has 10 Million twitter followers

Washington, Apr 19: The White House now has 10 million followers on twitter. "We just hit 10 million! #ThanksForFollowing," the White House tweeted yesterday after its number of followers touched the 10 million mark.

The White House joined the twitter in April 2009. And since then it has made 24,500 tweets. It is following 223 people. Interestingly, the personal twitter handle of US President Barack Obama has 73.4 million followers.
