In a video shared by travel blogger Divyakshi Gupta, two individuals in Greece were captured singing a popular Arijit Singh song.

The first instance featured a staff member from the car rental service Gupta used, who sang "Tum Hi Ho" from the Bollywood movie Aashiqui 2.

Gupta's Instagram post highlighted the staff member's flawless pronunciation and cheerful demeanour, which resonated well with her followers. In another surprising encounter, a cafe owner on the Greek island of Naxos also sang the same Arijit Singh song for Gupta's camera.

What amazed social media users even more was the cafe owner's thoughtful gesture of printing his menu in Hindi for Indian tourists. The menu included popular Indian beverages like lassi and masala chai, indicating his welcoming approach to visitors from India.

Gupta reflected on her experiences in Greece, noting that wherever she mentioned her Indian origin, she received warm responses from the locals, showcasing a shared appreciation for Indian culture even in distant corners of the world.

The video has garnered over 3 lakh views and received more than 22,000 'likes' on Instagram. Comments ranged from expressions of amazement to admiration. "It is even noted that they are getting the pronunciation right! Incredible," was written by one Instagram user. Another mentioned that this song appears to be quite popular in Greece.

"Wow, that menu in Devanagari is just the next level of love," commented a third Instagram user. The video was even noticed by violinist Cassandra Sotos, who has toured with Arijit Singh. "I am Greek American and have performed violin with Arijit for years ... I'm blown away!!! What is this?" she asked.

Some viewed it as a testament to India's soft power. Recently, another Indian song has gone massively viral internationally. "San Sanana" from the 2001 Hindi film Asoka has been used in hundreds of thousands of Reels on Instagram, many of them racking up millions of views on the platform.
