The Mexico Congress held a remarkable event, which could be considered a pivotal moment in the annals of human civilization, likely intensifying curiosity surrounding extraterrestrial life and UFOs.

On Tuesday, the bodies of two alleged non-human beings were presented during a congressional hearing in Mexico City, according to reports.

Presented by journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan, the 'bodies' were claimed to be the fossilized remains of extraterrestrial beings dating back 1,000 years.

"These specimens are not part of our terrestrial evolution... These aren't beings that were found after a UFO wreckage. They were found in diatom [algae] mines, and were later fossilised," Metro.uk quoted Maussan, speaking under oath at the San Lazaro legislative palace, as saying.

Ryan Graves, Americans for Safe Aerospace Executive Director and former US Navy pilot, also participated in the event.

At the event, several clips showcasing "UFOs and unidentified anomalous phenomena" were shown. These preserved specimens were displayed in glass cases for everyone to observe. Supposedly, they were recovered from Cusco, Peru.

Maussan mentioned that the specimens underwent analysis at the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM), where scientists successfully extracted DNA and employed radiocarbon dating techniques to determine their age.

He further reported that over 30 per cent of the specimens' DNA remained unidentified, and experts at the hearing noted the presence of what appeared to be 'eggs' inside one of the bodies.

At the event, the distinguished professor Abraham Avi Loeb, who serves as the director of the Harvard Astronomy Department and is known for his work on the Oumuamua theory, made a remote video call and encouraged the Mexican government to permit domestic scientists to investigate the potential existence of extraterrestrial life.
