US stocks plunge on global sell-off
New York, Jan 8: The US stocks slumped for a second straight day on Thursday, as global markets rout and falling oil prices continued to weigh on Wall Street.

The Dow tumbled 2.32 percent, and the S&P 500 dropped 2.37 percent, while the Nasdaq shed 3.03 percent, Xinhua news agency reported.
