US Presidential Inauguration: Trump's Full Schedule, Featuring MAGA Rally, Fireworks

With less than three days remaining until the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump, preparations for the swearing-in ceremony appear to be in full swing, with a rehearsal conducted earlier this week.

In the latest update, the inaugural committee has unveiled the schedule for Trump's inauguration day, which includes a Make America Great Again (MAGA) victory rally, a fireworks display, and three inaugural balls, among other events.

In a press release, inaugural committee co-chairs Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler stated, "President Trump is dedicated to uniting the country through the strength, security, and opportunity of his America First agenda."

The press release further noted, "The 2025 inaugural celebrations will reflect President-elect Trump's historic return to the White House and the American people's decisive vote to Make America Great Again," Politico reported.

According to multiple sources, Trump's inauguration committee has raised over $170 million, with some reports suggesting the total has reached approximately $200 million, setting a new record.

Trump's Inauguration Day Schedule:

Saturday, 18th January
A president's reception and fireworks display are scheduled at the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, alongside a Cabinet reception and a dinner for the vice president.

Sunday, 19th January
The day's programme will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.
This will be followed by Donald Trump's MAGA "Victory Rally" at the Capital One Arena in Washington, and a candlelight dinner later in the evening.

Monday, 20th January
- The Inauguration Day will commence with a service at St. John's Episcopal Church, followed by tea at the White House.
- Swearing-in ceremony at the US Capitol, with Trump scheduled to take the oath at noon.
- Farewell ceremony for former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
- US Capitol Departure Ceremony.
- The President's Signing Room Ceremony.
- Congressional luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.
- The President's Review of the Troops.
- Presidential parade along Washington's Pennsylvania Avenue, with nearly 7,500 participants expected.
- Oval Office Signing Ceremony at the White House.
- Trump to deliver remarks at the Commander in Chief Ball.
- Trump to deliver remarks at the Liberty Inaugural Ball.
- Trump to deliver remarks at the Starlight Ball.

Tuesday, 21st January
A National Prayer Service will take place at 11 am at Washington National Cathedral, marking the conclusion of the inauguration events.
