US presidential poll 2016: Marco Rubio loses Florida, pulls out of race
Florida, March 16: Florida Senator Marco Rubio withdrew from the race for the Republican presidential nomination after losing in his home state on Super Tuesday II.
Rubio had been targeting front-runner Donald Trump in all kinds of ways but failed to stop his onward march in this primary season.
Rubio could muster 27 per cent in Florida primary which Trump won by getting 46 per cent. Ted Cruz got 17 per cent in this state.
