US President Donald Trump, Russia's Vladimir Putin Condemned Pahalgam Terrorist Attack, Call It A Brutal Crime
More than 28 people lost their lives and several got injured in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on Tuesday. Most of the deceased were tourists, including women and children. This distressing event drew immediate international attention as leaders from around the globe strongly condemned the incident and expressed grief over the loss of lives.
US President Donald Trump voiced his support for India through a social media post stating, "Deeply disturbing news out of Kashmir. The United States stands strong with India against Terrorism. We pray for the souls of those lost, and for the recovery of the injured. Prime Minister Modi, and the incredible people of India, have our full support and deepest sympathies. Our hearts are with you all!" echoed the sentiment of global unity in the face of terror.

Russian President Vladimir Putin reached out to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He condemned the attack, terming it a "brutal crime" and underscored the need for the perpetrators to be held accountable.
"This brutal crime has no justification whatsoever. We expect that its organisers and perpetrators will face a deserved punishment," reaffirmed Russia's commitment to collaborating with India in combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Putin also extended his sympathies to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
On his part, Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the attack by condemning it as a "heinous act" and assured that efforts would be made to bring the attackers to justice. The commitment to addressing terrorism and ensuring the safety of both citizens and visitors remains a priority for India's leadership.
During a visit to India, US Vice President JD Vance, along with his wife Usha and their children, also shared his condolences, emphasizing the impact of the "horrific attack" on the victims and their families. Through a post on X, Vance expressed, "Usha and I extend our condolences to the victims of the devastating terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they mourn this horrific attack." This gesture highlighted the personal engagement of US officials in showing solidarity with India.
