UK revokes citizenships of two more IS brides, both sisters
London, March 11: With terrorism becoming more of a home-grown individual-centric menace for nation-states, they are turning stricter in allowing people who decided to turn jihadis and now wanting to return home.

Two more women - Reema and Zara Iqbal, both sisters - recently have had their British citizenships revoked because they wanted to fled the UK to end up as jihadi brides, Lad Bible reported.
The duo is currently in refugee detention camps in Syria with their five kids. Three of them were born in the UK while the remaining two are believed to have been born in the West Asian nation.
Recently, a woman named Shamima Begum had her UK citizenship revoked after she left Britain to become a jihadi bride.
According to the Lad Bible report, the British authorities have alleged that the two sisters - aged 30 and 28, have parents who are from Pakistan and they could be eligible for citizenship there. The two left the UK six years ago in search of Islamic States husbands who have been connected to Islamic extremism.
Reema recently told The Telegraph, UK, about her plans to return to the country of her birth.
"The security services came to speak to me and I was honest," she was quoted as saying by the newspaper. "I told them my whole story so now it's up to them to judge. I don't know if my Mum every got me a Pakistani passport or not, I've never been to Pakistan."
"There's not enough food for bigger families. It's a prison here, but we're serving no sentence. If I face court, fine, but take me back to the UK, that's where I'm from."
The two sisters' citizenship battle comes in the wake of the Shamima Begum case. She had left the UK when she was a teenager but pleaded to be allowed back so that her unborn baby could be taken care of. However, her citizenship was revoked.
