13 killed, 22 injured in blast in Afghanistan's Nawa district
At least 13 people were killed and 22 injured in a blast in Afghanistan's Nawa district on Sunday.
Tolo news reported that a suicide bomber exploded himself in front of an armored vehicle in Dopul area of Nawa district.
On Wednesday, five people were killed and around 40 other injured in suicide bombing in Lashkargah city in Helmand, southern Afghanistan. Two soldiers and three civilians were killed in the attack.
It may be recalled that at least 35 people were killed and more than 40 wounded after a suicide car bomb targeted a bus carrying ministry staff in Kabul earlier in August. The Taliban had claimed responsibility for the attack.
