Tensions Soar: Iran Fires Missiles at Israel, Civilians Told to Stay in Bomb Shelters

In a major escalation, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that Iran has launched ballistic missiles at Israel, marking a retaliatory strike in the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict. The attack follows the recent US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

According to the IDF, air raid sirens were activated across several regions of Israel, including central and northern areas, after the detection of incoming missiles from Iranian territory.

"A short while ago, sirens sounded in several areas across Israel following the identification of missiles launched from Iran toward the State of Israel. The public is requested to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command. At this time, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) is operating to intercept and strike where necessary to eliminate the threat," the IDF stated in an official update.

Residents have been ordered to remain in bomb shelters until further notice as Israeli forces respond to the incoming threat. Emergency services, medics, and security forces have been deployed to areas where missile impacts have been reported.

This is the first ballistic missile attack from Iran in over a day and the first since the US military conducted strikes on Iranian nuclear infrastructure. The IDF continues to monitor the situation closely and has confirmed the detection of multiple ballistic missile launches from Iran.

The conflict between Iran and Israel has now entered a dangerous new phase, with fears of further escalation mounting globally.
