Six ships carrying weapons for IS sought in Mediterranean
Paris, June 17 The European secret services were seeking six ships that left Turkey in mid-May with weapons destined for Islamic State in Libya, a source from security forces in the Middle East said on Friday.
The source said the secret services suspect the ships carried small arms and Kalashnikov assault rifles hidden between their loads, Efe news reported.

The ships include two containers, one with Turkish flag and the other Liberian, three cargo ships from Panama, Bolivia and Tanzania, and the sixth a goods transport ship registered in Comoros.
Western intelligence agents operating in Turkey gave the warning of alleged weapons in some ships that are capable of carrying more than 10,000 tons.
