Sikh Separatist Gurpatwant Pannun Threatens To Blow Up Air India Flight On Nov 19

Designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the founder of the banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has released a new video asking Sikhs not to fly in Air India aircraft after November 19, as their lives can be under threat.

"We are asking the Sikh people not to fly via Air India. From November 19, there will be a global blockade. Air India won't be allowed to operate. Sikh people, don't travel by Air India after November 19. Your life can be in danger," ANI quoted Pannun as saying in the video that is doing rounds on social media.

Pannun asserted that Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport would be closed on November 19 and suggested a name change for the airport. He emphasized that this date coincides with the final match of the current Cricket World Cup.

"It is the same day in November on which the final match of the World Terror Cup will be played," he said.

"The name of this airport will be Shahid Beant Singh, Shahid Satwant Singh Khalistan airport, when Punjab will be liberated," he added.

SFJ leader Pannun has a history of issuing threats. In September, he advised Hindu-Canadians to exit Canada during the India-Canada diplomatic tension concerning the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun circulated a video on social media, asserting the consistent allegiance of pro-Khalistan Sikhs to Canada. He then proceeded to intimidate Indo-Canadian Hindus, encouraging them to leave the country.

Following the dissemination of Pannun's hateful speech, lawyers from the Hindu Forum Canada requested that the Canadian Immigration Minister bar Pannun from entering Canadian territory.

The lawyer from Hindu Forum Canada wrote to Canada's Minister of Immigration, Mark Miller, expressing that Pannun's recent remarks have caused distress and trauma not only within the Hindu community but also among Canadian citizens in general.
