Rise in violence in Nepal ahead of elections

There are hundreds of cases of violence across the country. The Nepal Army has defused a number of bombs planted in different parts of the country, Xinhua reported.
Security agencies were still not clear whether the CPN-M-led alliance is planting the bombs or there are other groups behind such cases.

Protestors Tuesday attacked a micro bus in the capital with a petrol bomb injuring one child.
Over 10 bombs were defused Monday by teams of the Nepal Army.
There are also incidents of public buses being set ablaze while their drivers were sleeping inside. The Nepal Army has been deployed on the streets of Kathmandu but people are afraid to open shops and schools and run public vehicles.
